Far Post Analytics (the “Site”) respects your privacy and keeps the information it collects to a minimum. This policy explains what information the Site handles and how.
Information we collect
The Site can be used without signup or login, and we do not directly collect personally identifying information such as your name or email. Only if you email us do we see that address and the content of your message.
Cookies and analytics
We may use analytics tools to understand site usage, which can collect anonymous information such as your browser, device and pages visited via cookies. You can refuse cookies in your browser settings.
Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how visitors reach them. GA4 collects the pages you view and the time spent on them, the referring URL and search terms where the referrer supplies them, an approximate city-level location derived from your IP address, and your device type, browser and language. IP addresses are truncated by Google before storage. What is available to us is aggregate: the reports we can see do not identify you by name, email address or account. Analytics storage is set to denied by default on this site and is enabled only if you consent. You can also opt out of Analytics entirely, on every site, using Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Third-party data and services
Player data and photos are provided by API-Football (api-football.com). If advertising is shown on the Site, third-party ad providers such as Google may use cookies to serve interest-based ads.
Advertising
The Site may display advertising served by third-party services such as Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com), or opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
Consent management (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
For users in the EEA and UK, consent for personalized advertising is gathered through Google's certified consent management platform (IAB TCF ID 300), delivered via Google AdSense. Until you make a choice, advertising and analytics storage remain denied and no personalised advertising cookies are set. Your choice is stored in your browser and remembered on later visits, and is re-requested periodically in line with Framework rules. To change or withdraw it, use the consent link the message provides, or clear this site's cookies in your browser — the message will then appear again on your next visit. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.
How long data is kept
We operate no accounts and keep no user database of our own, so there is no profile of you held on our servers. Google Analytics 4 event-level and user-level data is retained for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted. Aggregated reporting data may be retained for longer. Consent choices live in your browser until they expire or you clear them. Cookies set by Google for advertising and analytics have their own retention periods, set by Google. Email you send us is kept for as long as it takes to answer; correspondence about a correction is kept as part of the record of that correction.

Your rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR
If you are in the EEA or the UK you have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict its processing, to withdraw consent at any time, and to receive your data in a portable form. Because this site operates no accounts and holds no directly identifying data of its own, most requests concern data held by Google in connection with analytics and advertising; where that is the case we will say so and point you to Google’s own controls. Send requests to the address below and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority — in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner’s Office.
